R'Gang Havanese is owned and operated by Jane Falkenstein, a fabulous friend and perhaps the most conscientious and persnickety dog breeder you'll ever meet. This website is dedicated to Jane's gorgeous Havanese, those lovable bundles of fluff and joy who are her most beloved family members and constant companions.

Only Champion Havanese Bloodlines are used in the R'Gang Havanese breeding program. Dam and sire are extensively screened for healthy eyes, hips, elbows, patellas, cardiac, hearing, and normal blood panels.

Always striving to improve the breed, Jane continually seeks to educate herself on Havanese health and best breeding practices, participate in Havanese breed organizations and seminars, and works with other breeders to produce the best possible Havanese puppies. Prior to showing and breeding Havanese, Jane specialized in breeding various types of birds, including Blue-fronted Amazons, macaws, and exotic canaries, competing in bird expos and winning many awards. This endeavor lasted 17 years, until she met her first Havanese.

Love has no words...

Jane's home is now filled to the brim with Havanese who are loved, treasured, and always at her feet. Whether sharing cuddles on the couch or proudly exhibiting in the show ring, this loving relationship between Jane and her dogs is one of the greatest blessings of her life.

Jane began showing Havanese with ARBA (American Rare Breed Association) and IABCA (International All Breed Canine Association) well before the AKC (American Kennel Club) accepted the Havanese into the Toy Group, January 1999.

Jane's Miss Darla (photo below) was shown and received her International and Mexican Titles in 1998 and 1999. Jane has been competing in AKC show rings ever since and consistently produces fabulous AKC Havanese Champions.
